Mandrus Wheels - Anybody tried 'em?
I was in a local wheel and detailing shop here in the KC area yesterday, looking at some wheels/tires for my E55. The guy at the wheel shop had a number of setups that wouldn't clear my calipers and a number of setups that would work. Anyway, he mentioned Mandrus wheels and that they are specifically made for Mercedes Benz. He had a catalog on hand, so I took a look. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had any experiences with the Mandrus wheels? i'd love to get everyone's thoughts. Thanks!

Nice Looking Wheels
My uncle just bought a set of 20" Mandrus wheels for his SL55 and they look great. He hasn't mounted them yet so I don't know how they ride. From what I understand, they're made exclusively for Mercs. There's a seller on ebay who sells the MB center caps color matched to your car.

I had an online dealer tell me that the Mandrus Mannheims had been recalled due to quality issues.... Has anybody else heard about this?

stuttgart.
thank you.
i have really warmed up to them. at first i thought i had made a mistake. but now i think they look gorgeous.
tough to keep clean. spend an hour polishing... drive 10 feet, get out... another rag please.
also look great when the car is moving. but that means i gotta let someone drive it... which i don't like to do.

+1, the Wilhelm is a great wheel. Slightly shallower lip than the Millennium, but a great looking wheel nonetheless.
I'm running them on my SRT for the next little bit... Soon to switch to the TSW Interlagos for weight reasons.
See pics below, I had the same wheels on my white Crossfire, then switched them over when I upgraded to the SRT. Seeing my white one reminds me, I need to lower my new one
