That's a gorgeous car...
I guess the OP probably already knows, but now is really not the time to be selling any hi-end car.
But I sure do love the Masers. And yeah, their engine and tranny are built by Ferrari, it's the same 400hp V8 that comes in the F360. Has such an incredible sound to it, it's intoxicating. I know powerchips makes a boxed tune where you can pick up another 20hp, so you could probably get 30 or more out of a custom tune. And there are lots of intake and exhaust options on the market, so it wouldn't be that hard to get 450-460ish out of it.
The problem with the quattroporte is it's weight and size. It's a pig, with a 5000lb curb weight, so it's never going to be the fastest thing going. Even so it still does 60 in 5.2 and the 1/4 in the 13's, which is pretty respectable for such a big car. I would love to own one.
I hear the maintenance is outrageous though.
