E55 AMG Kompressor
Do you lose hp with with noisy lifters? like does that mean there not working right so u are losing a little hp ?

Wow, I'm starting to feel like an old timer instead of the new guy. Ticking seems loudest in drivers side fender well at idle = oil pump chain. They all do it. Been discussed many times.

Thanks brotha, sorry I posted in the wrong section too. I kinda freaked out and quickly searched and replied. Added oil and it stopped.

63 motors have there own gremlins. You should become familiar with them. Try searching head bolts and cams.
