Go with the 35%, 50 is too light and you wouldnt even notice its there. 20% will be too dark since i know you want to be seen driving your beauty...

Yeah, you wouldn't want to look like this guy after tanning too long:

a couple more things to keep in mind are to make sure your installer uses a product guaranteed not to turn purple and if you're running a radar detector in the cabin, stay away from metallic tints which are the cheapest and what almost every installer will use unless you specify otherwise.

MY WINDSHEILD IS 35% ... do 20%....35% or 50% is way too light, 50% is pointless, 35% is still light, but better than 50%

Here in British Columbia we are not allowed to have the drivers side and passenger side tinted. I just tinted mine with 50% for all seven windows, still looks good, didnt want it too dark and attract the wrong attention. Anyway I am happy with the choice, the installer did a good job, one piece in the rear and pretty much all the way up to the edge of the windows.

That's true.

Ok, the real reason why I wanna get tint is so people can't see me dancing in my car.

What shop is that? After today's heat I decided to get tint and I want the ceramic tint too.

Mine is 35% all around. I think it is perfect, not to light not to dark. I have panoroof too.

I have worked in 10+ states, and I never had any problems with 15% on my sti. I plan on doing 15% all the way around, sans the windshield.

I had 35% put on mine two weeks ago. I'm glad I didn't go darker. This was the first car I've ever had that didn't have 20% on it.

It's a shop in Lake Forest called Tint Plus. They use Formula One tint. The $216 quote is for the Formula One Classic Series on the 4 side windows and rear window. It will cost more for Ceramic, but I'm not sure how much.

haha,, cute, but dont most girls like to have an audience when they dance... like the attention thing

before you decide on the 35%, or 50% , look at some cars
at 12 noon, and at 5 pm, and at dark night,,

the 50% although it looks light at noon, because of the angle of the sun,
at 5pm it looks like 35% does at noon, and plenty dark and at night of course you can see out the windows alot more and they are plenty dark..

especially if you do 50% front and sides, and 35% rear , really makes the car look like 40% all around.. and classy too, looks factory,, not
like an add on..

just something to keep in mind..

I have the 50% on front and sides, 35% rear, and 20% on the SUNROOFS

would not go darker, looks about 40% avg

Honestly I never heard of Formula one tint..

the real industry leaders and best brands that have major companies behind them,, optical certifications for clarity and UV etc..

are LLUMAR, 3M, HUPER OPTIK,

all the above are excellent and last and you cannot go wrong,,

They do good work and it comes with a warranty. I always see a lot of higher end cars and exotics coming out of there also 35% is too light imo. I have 35% all around and 50% on my windshield and I'm not happy with it AT ALL. I've never had tint on any of my cars until now and for some reason I want to go darker. Probably about 20% like Vic suggested would be idea... hope this helps ms.

What?!! This is probably one, if not THE COOLEST TRICK EVER! Who would've ever thought rolling down ones tinted windows would avoid being cited!!! I'm trying this all day tomorrow FOR SURE! Can't wait to see the cops faces as I fool them knowing my tinted windows are tucked away deep inside my front doors... tee hee! Imma get dem good! I'll post results and outcomes in the evening!

PS. I love these animated smilies.

Cars look good people!

Question... The back is factory tint as well as the side, the shop in my area claims they can't tint over it and have to pull all tint on all windows (car is stock). They are going to charge an additional 150.00 to remove.

I want 20% all around without the hassle of removing tint and costing me 400 our the door .

Unless there is a prior tint job on your car, there shouldn't be any tint to remove.
