Old Skool Members.. I'm BITTER about our car value!
If I had waited a few months, I could have gotten a CLS55 with less than 25K miles on it for around 55K or so...lol. Oh well, it is what it is. You may as well keep your car, and hold on to it.
As for CL65s (previous chasis design not current one), their prices have been all over the place: I've seen between $45k to $65k depending on miles, condition, etc.....

Its a not a sellers market and it is a buyers market. When depreciation slows, it reverses. Unfortunately most of us bought cars before the great depression of Q4 2008

Oh btw- Id much rather see my home value go up.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
We are coming on troubled times my friends. If you voted for the man, please tell me why everything will work out ok. I think we are f'ed.
As an average, each AMG car has cost me $1,500mo to own and my last two M cars only cost me around $300mo in depreciation. So basically, I can own 5 of the right M cars for what it costs my to own 1 AMG.

I am going to be press the gas pedal to the floor now and and that $1500mo will fade right out of memory.
Ok Vinny, I agree. LOL
Blacksport- I know what your talking about. My 2000 E55 just sits in the driveway collecting dirt. I'm upside down about 10k, and haven't been able to sell it. I wish someone would steal the damn thing. LOL
My thread was meant to poke fun at our values. I love my car and everytime I floor it I smile. That's priceless!

there is so much kool-aid going around that people think its wise to pass bills which will raise energy costs by 3k per household. Then when you realize the plan is not going to resolve pollution like they hope you become twice as mad. Then you hear that they will issue subsidies to the lower income members of society to help cover that increase in energy costs and just make the wealthy pay 3x as much you get three times as mad.
This country is absolutely destroyed in my eyes. People no longer have a reason to go try and create wealth. Congress and Obama will just find a way to come tax that money out of your hands. Mr. Timmy Turbo Tax will be setting all our salaries soon enough!
Next flight to Australia leaves when?
