Here's an idea: stop selling your cars. If we all stay happy and content with our vehicles and stop selling them every time a new model or gadget comes out then the value might stabilize a little. Just remember back to why you bought the car you own, go clean her up, go for a drive and fall in love again. These cars don't change all that much after the new car smell is gone.

I plan on holding on to this CLK for a good long while.

Yeah, it's funny how even a 507HP car seems faster after a great detailing.

Quote: I have only seen two other black 211E55's in my county in the last three years and one is a board member. Today I saw three new ones with black 19's. All these Nooblets talking about picking them up for 30k has me worked up. I got new insurance last week and they are only covering the car for 31k. WTF! I can't even replace the engine for that price. Is this is sick dream? Is Arnie still going to raise my tags? Do we qualify for a bailout? Pshhh All washed up at 34k miles.
Yep when the amg's hit the 30k mark all the low bidders get them and then you can chalk that car up to being way play'd out. thats why i dumped mine last yr.

I think its funny, someone buys a 200+k plus Ferrari then sells it for 150k , takes a 50k + loss and now has no Ferrari. to me, seems like u are moving backwards in life
