As far as the i.c pump should i be worried about it and change it asap or is this something i should hold off on until i decide to upgrade the heat exchanger as well? Or would i notice a diffrence with just a pump for now?

Chrysler Crossfire
We'll be offering one soon. A turn of events led us to have to fab one up for an E55. Core should be in tomorrow and then its up to my welder to work his magic.
We're looking at a price point of around 500.00.
For the local customers we'll be offering a full cooling package: HE, Modded Tstat, CM30, and -10 degree fan mod. All topped off with OEM MB coolant and some Purple Ice (we've seen it run cooler then water wetter many times). Pricing to be announced on install and package pricing.

2003 cl55 (sold)
anybody know the biggest size HE that can fit in the CL? I've heard that there is less space in the CL vs. the E..... also, is it better (or easier for install purposes) to have the inlet and outlet on the same side or different sides? thnx

Yeah, just don't know if it is stock garrett heat exchanger (which is 26X6X1.5) from the cobra or gt500 (which you can get dirt cheap on ebay) or something else..... like I said, haven't seen too many on CL55s but Vadim told me that there is less space for HE in the CL up front....

the stock oil cooler takes up room at the bottom and the front rebar is in the way as well.
when i looked and measured to see how much room i have, 7" might be difficult to fit unless u find a new place for the oil cooler or perhaps fit some of the HE behind the rebar. that might be possible with the 26" length.
are u perhaps going to fit this in front of the rebar?
the width is nice though! theres definitely enough space for 3.5" or even more.
can u do other sizes besides the one u have listed above?

i think either way is possible but it seems simpler to do the dual pass since the hoses are already made to fit that way.
jicl55: im not sure how much room the CL has but maybe u can get it on a lift and take a look from underneath so that u can take some measurements.
i had to remove the plastic covering there to see and measure the space i have. it just takes a minute to do that.

yes i believe they are on the same side because the stock HE uses a dual pass system. if on opposite ends it would be a single pass system.
