What kind of brake pads are you running?

I need to replace the rears and am looking for some recommendations outside of OEM. I'm thinking about going with Hawk HPS. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hum... Porterfield would be my first choice, too, but I called Porterfield last week and they said they didn't have anything that fits the E63. Are the E55 and E63 brakes the same?

Ferodo DS2500

Outstanding initial bite and fade resistance. Very consistent. Highly recommended.

I want to get a Porterfield RS4 because I'm sick of the brake dust. However, at almost $500 for front/rears I'm really not sure if I want to do it. My OEM pads are still at 80%.

UNless I miss my guess, you will not need the rears.. I bought both, the dealer didn't even change the rear,

Heres a thread from a member.

$80 shipped for rears.

$225 shipped for both front and rear.

Seem like a great price for the reviews of members.

I have the Akebono pads, and I gotta say they get the job done... but my next pads, I'm going with something with a much bigger bite. Maybe Porterfields...
