Another bluetooth install question..

So I installed my unit. My phone recognizes Mercedes Link. Yet nothing works. When I press TEL is says no phone installed.
I spoke with two dealers, both were ignorant saying nothing could be done. Do I need to have my car version coded for the phone? Dealer claims it is plug and play.

ok guys, I know this has been beat to death and back. I went to the dealer today and the forman installed the cradle adapter to my center concol. The phone synched to the cradle but when I pressed the tel button it said no phone installed. I mentioned that he might have to use the SDS to set it up but he said that you dont need to it should pick it up. He said that my car is a later 04 with the newer telematics. Now that I think of it does the amg command logo have anything to do with it? What are my other options here? v60 with puck?

I have a 2003 E55 and I had my Mercedes dealer order the part and install it a year ago. The bill was $402.00 for the part and installation including activation through STAR. It took less than two hours for installation. It's well worth it as I feel it improves safety.
Even if you install the bluetooth yourself, you will need someone to activate the phone through STAR.
I have an iPhone 3G and it works great. It pairs up with the bluetooth without any issues.

Not trying to thread hijack, but anyone know what options are avail to stream via bluetooth to command as a input? Anyone know of a aux/BT input somehow?
