Another bluetooth install question..
I've read countless posts via search function but I'm still not completely clear on exactly what I need to hook up my phone thru the console. My E55 is an 03 so it has the tele-aid which I believe means my car is pre-wired and all I need is the bluetooth puck, correct? I have no existing cradle in my console. Is it a simple plug-n-play thing that would be an easy DIY? (I know the dealership would have to flash the Star diagnostics to activate). Another member is selling a bluetooth puck. The part number is B67875839.
Does this have the "tail"? If not what other part would I need. I've talked to local Mercedes dealer and all they would say is that it would be about $750 plus labor?

What you need is the Tele-aid bluetooth adapter B67875855, this is all you need. But if you want to have a complete voice control kit install Q6820826 (optional). The adapter alone is

Look on eBay, Duval, call a few dealers for price on puck.

I just ordered this one last week from the dealer, it's listing for about $300 these days, not bad for what it does.

That is the cheaper way to do it. If you want full integration with voice command, the puck I am selling is the way to go, but not necessary.

ok so i just decoded my vin and this shows up as an option.
"installation parts kit and connecting cable harness for TeKaDe BSA 31s car phone with one set"
Does this mean that My 06 E55 is pre wired for a phone and all i need to buy is the Bluetooth Puck with a tail and then SDS phone present. I dont need Voice control. Knowing my luck I will get this all done and it wont even work with my Phone which is a AT&T, HTC Fuse that runs on Microsoft mobile,

Yes, Linguatronic, and if it was easy to get it out of the car, I'd sell that cheap too. The car didn't have either option, they were both done at the same time by Steve at MBenzNL.

If you don't get much luck here, try a search through the regular W211 section, there are a lot of threads over there about bluetooth.

I bought the Viseeo puck, just came in mail today!!
Works flawlessly for 2005-up cars part# MB-2000, though their 2003-2004 part# MB-1000 isn't listed on main Viseeo site, the Ebay seller I dealt with still has plenty of both models for sale.
Paired it up myself in about 20min (Could've done it faster but didn't want to screw anything up, works w/iphone & my LG Dare seamlessly plus multiple others, also comes w/USB cords for connecting to internet for different phones/updates ALL steering wheel buttons/Command/caller ID/Phn Book/hands free OEM functions WORK!)
I'll post a formal thread tonite w/pix, seller is top notch! from GB to Southern, CA. shipped 10 days flat
He'll do a group buy for cheaper..I purchased for about $345 to my door..
Dealership tried telling me I needed full retrofit inc their branded phn for $3300

What ever happened to Argos Bluetooth? Does anyone remember that thing? It looked promising but it seemed to keep being delayed.
I've got an '04 and I would pay thousands to have a seamless BT integration for my iPhone, but the fact is, I don't think one really exists for the '04....right?
(PS - I dont want no puck either. I USE my center console)

when can you meet up? We could try the Calabasas meet again?1) Other neat thing this Viseeo can do: You can add up to (3) different phns to be recognized by the system IE your lady's or say work phn will all link up once paired (I don't know what would happen if you had them all in the car at once though
)
