Car & Driver - 2003 E55 test
Check this video capture out I was emailed that is of the Car & Driver test of a 2003 E55 (In Eurospec Trim).
Amazing ! They go as far as to compare the speed with a Viper saying you get almost Dodge Viper performance !
Rack one up for Mercedes ...

Nice video, I especially liked at the end where they showed the car shooting off, it almost looked like it was a front wheel drive turbo car with torque steer the way the 55 was pulling.
Amazing.

Ok I think I figured it out, it must be that TNN banner at the bottom. I wonder if instead of cropping the video they just shrunk it by a few percent horizontally to make it fit the TV.
I tried editing the clip to restore normal proportions but the clip is in ASF format (Microsoft proprietary) and nothing can edit it.

It may not be as much fun to drive as a current M5, BUT when the M5 is looking at my E55's rear end, that's going to be all the fun I require.
Thanks for the great video!!!

In the video they say the car will be 4200lbs.
My E430 is only 3600lbs, I believe.
What's all the additional weight for?
