I've decided I'm waiting until August of 2010 (insurance reasons) to move into a W211, but if I were looking to move now, yours would definitely be the first I would look at, even though it is not my ideal color.
greetingz,

i might be willing to pick it up if you'll help on shipping and start going toward the lower 20s. i still have my BMW so I'm not immediately looking for anything.
I'd re-evaluate here in a month or so. I'm not sure how time sensitive you are in selling it?

I'm not trying to sandbag the guy, but $28k for a 2003 with those miles is high. If he wants to sit on it for months while it continues depreciating, I guess that's his business, but speaking realistically a fair sale on this car is low/mid $20k's. $28k is pretty far out of range, compared to the lower mileage and newer examples out there for the same money.

I really apprciate what you bring to the forum and you usually do give great advice. But, I have to disagree with you this time. Although there are examples of e55's for cheaper, I have seen many of these cars and the condition they are in is sad!!! It really means a lot when the owner of the car can pay to have the car properly serviced and maintained. Yes you can go out and buy one of those 2003 e55's for 20k, but I want you to tell me how that works out and how much you ended up spending bringing the car back to a decent condition. I priced my car perfectly for the market and condition. There is no money that needs to be spent on it in any way... And this means A LOT on an AMG .... IMHO
thanks,
Aleks

Still, I dunno, $28k may be a lot to swallow for an '03. I certainly hope I'm wrong, and definitely wish you the best with your sale.
