2006 SL65 ///AMG - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: 2005 E55; 2002 ML55; 2001 CLK55; 1992 BMW 850i; 1991 M5
Thumbs Up!

That get's a big thumbs up from me. I am presently running dark carbon finished replicas of the prior generation CL65 and I really have enjoyed them, but I'm super tempted by this style of wheel. Looks great!

2005 E55 / 2008 E63
Have these on my silver car, nice combo with the STAR lowering. Smash thru potholes daily, even blew out a rear tire and these things have held up. It I remember correctly they were cheap as hell with Sumitomo III's (~$1800) so you don't feel to bad rough riding.

The ride is not bad at all, and yes very cheap with the nexens
$1800 delivered in two days.

One thing to look out for when your in a hurry, one of the hubcentric rings came off my snow setup and stuck on the hub. I tried to install the new wheel anyway and could not figure out why it wouldn't snug up to the rotor. Took me about 30 minutes, hell of a lot of cranking and moving on to the next wheel to figure it out....some say I'm purty sharp

It involves adding some washers to something on the sensors for the suspension. Don't know exactly had my mechanic do it while I was in for other things.
Here is the DIY https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...-80-cents.html

My mechanic is a Mercedes mechanic and he just used some locktite on the nuts and probably didn't go to the extreme.

I weighed them and the rears were 55 lbs and the fronts were 51 lbs each. My OEM chrome rears were 60 lbs.

I see the same wheels listed by Detail King and he shows them at 26lbs.

From Nexen spec sheet:
Nexen 275/30/19 N3000 are 26lbs puts rear wheels at 29lbs
Nexen 245/35/19 N3000 are 25lbs puts front wheels at 26lbs
