SDS lowering

How much is a fair price to pay for SDS lowering for a independant to do the work, I got quoted $300 without a wheel alignment from a guy in here in Houston, I'm Fairly close friends with a guy that just started working alongside him but only works on Porsche's and I dont want to be rude if thats the going rate, I had read a few prices of $350 from the dealer on this forum but they included a wheel alignment, I guess i should just pay and help them both out and not be so tight, right ?

Most people won't hook up an SDS for under $200. Also, lowering is not as simple as changing settings. If it is $300 with all the adjustment needed to get it like you want, then it is worth it. Many just do a quick rip and end up not getting exactly what they want. make sure the dude will put the time in, including multiple times hooking up...

Perhaps another member will correct me, but I don't think the lowering affects the alignment at all. You might get more camber as the car sits closer to the ground, but as far a I know there is no way to adjust for camber in this car.

On top of that, the lowering is very minimal with the SDS method. So any camber effects are pretty negligible.

I dropped at least an inch all around, pretty drastic and as low as I'd go. Paid $400 at the dealer (off the books) and they took the time and did it right.

Before my ELM I had SDS lowering. Lowered the car by at least an inch and I paid $225.00 at the dealer (on the books), including alignment.

No not yet I'm waiting for my tires to get here so I can have them mounted to my new wheels next weekend, then I will follow up with the lowering and a wheel alignment,

You would want to align it. Yes, we can not adjust camber (but for the bolts) much but you can set toe, which is key with added camber.
