11.71 @ 126mph don't know if this is some Magazine V-box crap due to No other split times provided nor track used etc...

They used the Car & Driver acceleration times of 11.7 @ 126mph (from the comparison test with the ZR1, LP640, and Viper) and added some numbers to the end of each to make it look like a "track" time.

Damnit! I figured as much, why do these Mag's report/record this info as if it was really taken down a genuine 1/4 mile track? Or do you think some lonely random idiot is the root of all these Magazine V-box entries?

I'm sure it will go a lot quicker when a talented driver gets behind the wheel. Magazines put the Z06 at 11.7 or something. Which is horse $&*#. Everyone knows they can run 11.1-11.3 with stock tires and a competent driver.

I think it is capable of 10's with just drag radials. It has put down 580+rwhp and 680+rwtq on a Dynojet. That coupled with an almost 300lbs weight loss over a stock SL65 should make it capable of running .5 faster than a comparable stock SL65 with drag radials. Althoguh, I am not sure whether the new coil-over suspension actually hurts the weight transfer to the rear for drag racing. Someone needs to get their hands on one and take it to the strip and let Jay drive it into the 10's!
