What are the difference beside color with Amgfans and chriomickey's?

I do remember that. I never figured out if it was just sound or power loss. These days, we are pushing more and more air, so maybe the 2.75 vs 2.5 will come into play....

Good choice Alan

I must say I am a little disappointed that I am the last person to find out you are getting LT's

Good point Jangy, I know my setup looks different. Let me look for the pics somewhere. BTW, my setup is running 3".

Sorry Sal but it just came to me yesterday. I have this itch like you wouldn't believe. I've been contemplating LT's for a long time know and I figure I should just get it out of my system.

Sal, by chance you don't have pictures of your LT's? If you do would you mind posting them. If you guys haven't heard this mans car...it's fricken sick. This past gathering at Famoso no matter where you were you could tell when Sal's car was running...absolutely awesome!

Yeah Jon tell me about it. +1 on neighbors, I can see fear in their eyes when they hear my beast wake up on a cold start

IMO the exhaust note I get from my beast on cold morning startup is priceless

Come on guys, lets rally up and get a few takers on these long tube headers. I'm telling you Chris does excellent work and come highly recommended by many well known members.

Come on Sal don't you need another set . I think we should start a donation for my LT's.... Help the financially challenged fund.

But I remember you wanted the custom setup and it shined at the track. That is why i wonder if 3' wouldn't be good on the cars running high boost

Hey guys...I probably put out some misinformation out there on the back pipes...

I pulled out the thread regarding the VRP headers and got to the point where Victor did a final design and it mentioned 3" pipes...this is the package I bought from him...for some reason the pics are no longer available.

https://mbworld.org/forums/2855296-post238.html

Also, the other design change was to mild steel.

So both setups run mild steel but the VRP has 3" tubes vs 2.5" tubes with Flooreds design?

I still love the black coating.

Just to let the people in the Bay Area know I'll be at dyno day with LET this Saturday. I'll try and get some sound clip and videos.

Alan you are a madman. Just a few weeks ago you sounded like you were going to wind things down... but all of a sudden you've got HREs and long tubes on the way???

You are sick. You may need to seek therapy

I really thought I was finished but long tubes is something I've always wanted and a opportunity presented itself...all though in a way I did initiate it I feel that until I do it it will keep on bugging me, plus just the other day I was given a unexpected bonus through work .

I won't argue with you about needing therapy ! Remember you're the one with both a E and SL... .

I have one more goodie going on after that and I'm done for sure . In the end all I really have is the VR600 package with cooling. It's still a stage 2...right?

all of a sudden you've got HREs
I couldn't pass this one up. 2K shipped from AMG Rider including like new Toyo T1R's...Thanks again Joon for the amazing deal you gave me!

With the mods you and I have, I would consider it a Stage 3. A Stage 2 is just ecu, pulley, filters and headers.

thanks Sun. Plan on hitting the track anytime soon? I'm really curious to see how your beast runs with the extra mods you added on. I'm sure I'll have you license plat memorized at the next track meet....
