where would the bluetooth module mount on E63?

I am trying to figure out if i can get a bluetooth module for my 07 E63. i know it needs a connection input from the stock electronics, but where would that connection be? i thought in the center console, but i do not see it. is it somewhere else?

i am beginning to believe this is an option that perhaps my car did not come with?

also, i will be buyin the module from ebay. i see em' for 100-250 ish. and of course, it would be the latest edition, 5878 version.

any input, appreciated!!!

I have the same car - I thought mine did not have it either. It is in the center console. It is at the very back of the console, at midway down the rear panel. It should have a nonconspicous cover over where the bluetooth module plugs in.

I paid like $450 at the dealer - because I wanted to take it back if it did not work.

One complaint I have is that if you open the door or try to make a call in your house sometimes, the bluetooth in the car engages and you can't talk on the phone without sitting in the car. I wish you could turn of the bluetooth, but it is on as soon as the door opens - you see that cool blue glow!

It is located in the center arm rest area. If you scroll open the center arm rest where the cup holders are, then look for a connection that mounts vertically.

LOL..... that happens to me sometimes as well . By the way, I think 2009 models and later come with integrated bluetooth, which should solve that problem.

Yes, you just plug it in, then press and hold the button until the blue light flashes, then you're ready to pair your phone with it. There is a code on the bluetooth adapter that you will need when pairing it with your phone

The bluetooth is integrated in all 09-up models. Like everyone else said, it is located in the back portion of your center armrest. Check the classifieds and Ebay, there are plenty of adapters for sale if you do not want to buy it from the dealer

+1 and the code for that is MBUSA or 62872 . Just pair it to your phone and let it download all of your phone book. The only phone that doesn't work quite well is some of the LG's and Palm, but other than that it work magic...

Probably, but it's doubtful it will download your phone book. That's still an issue with a lot of phones.

I'm am positive that these are the newest bluetooth modules that are out right now. I got them through my MB parts dealer for a song...........

He said they were the latest and greatest. I think this is the only one that works with newest 3G iphone.

These were coming in the 09 S-class before they were even being sold by the parts departments.

PM me if you are interested.

I found a vertical piece in the back of the center armrest but am not sure if that is the actual plug-in for the bluetooth. I can't see or feel anything which could be plug into the protruding piece. Does anybody have a picture of what the connection is suppose to look like? I would like to make sure I have the connection before making the purchase. Thanks in advance.

That vertical piece is where you plug in the bluetooth adapter.
