Reso and 2nd cat removal ... sound?

i got a question i c the e63 deleted the secondary cats and replaced them with a x pipe, and did straight pipes were the resinators orig went is there any other set up or is that the best way to go???. On my w210 i ran straight pipes from my secondary cats all the way to my muffler with 2.5 in s.s piping at my shop not mandrial bend though and i got pretty good sound out of it?

OK< just got the reso removed and the 2nd cats deleted (xpipe)and after all that ($300), im going to have to agree with alexander... perhaps im gona have to get the primary cats out... cuz it really doenst make a huge difference... I still feel i need it louder... what do u guys think about that??? any sugestions?
