You are very close;

On motor the 597.1 hp run we measured 487.1 whp

On the spray 722.7 hp we measured 614.0 whp

...but still hard to compare since the dyno platform is relatively new with limited numbers for comparisons. track results will tell the true story.

MAHA is not new. it's the european standard used by Brabus, RUF and other serious europe based tuners. it is a load bearing dyno which is and it calculates the crank hp by measuring drag of the wheels after the run.

yes, i know this...but it IS relatively new here, the vast majority of us interested are NOT in europe, and it is NOT the standard in the u.s. so it becomes even more difficult to know exactly what those dyno numbers equate to.

regardless of what dyno is being used, it still stands that the TRACK will tell the true story.

Oh Yea, I forgot to let you guys know how it drives and sounds
at Idle sound is sweet great tone ,not loud at all, at mormal driving it has a nice mean tone, you can tell it has a great system but again no drone and not loud, OK Now, when you floor it HOLLY SH*T It sounds like a fighter jet, THIS THING IS MEAN By far the best sounding system I have heard come out of a 4door sedan...The power is scary, I need to learn how to drive it again. With the traction controll on the tires break loose very easy. The big thing here is not the HP the car is making but the TQ, it make all it's tq at around 2800-3200 rpm and stays though the whole rpm range. 675 lbf @ 4k rpm (W/n02- about 125 less off )
Guys This car is SCARY forget about the hp #'s You have to see it, hear it, and driv it to see what I'm talking about..
WHEN DO WE RACE

nah, that's not what I meant. if anyone knows me by now, they know that dyno numbers mean very little to me...dj especially. measured performance is what counts in my book and I just want to see your track numbers.

btw, weren't you gonna race at speedworld saturday???

Now that's what I say, I don't care much about dyno #'s. I want to see what it will do at the track.. Didn't get a chance to hit speedworld Saturday, it was just to late. I can't wait to get the car to the track..

haters crazy
Aren't those numbers less than Jim aka jrcarts old numbers? He was making over 520whp without spray I believe. Plus his car is lighter. I am interested to see what this car does at the track. Good luck!

This is how I see things track numbers > dyno numbers > seat of pants

I think I have the fastest 432whp benz ever lollll

Its all about the curve Id take a nice fat curve over a peak hp anyday. Peak hp gets way too much credit. (not saying Ricks car doesnt have a good curve just making a general statement)

2005 Crossfire SRT6
Speedworld

This coming saturday at 6pm is an open test n tune plus Az Fastest Street car race. $20 bucks car and driver. Track prep should be good as the AFSC has 9 second cars running. It's also entertaining heads up racing. The slowing class is 11.50's, but that's if you want to do some heads up racing.

Have Mikey, Hooley, or Juicee text me if your coming out. I'll pop the DR's on and go have some fun with you. This saturday has a high of 91 and by the night it should be in the low 70's, so it won't be horribly bad DA. Right now at 90 degrees my portable weather station is putting DA at 3900. So 3500' is good enough for you to get in the 11's easily. I run 12.20's-12.30's in that DA on 100 octane.

I'm looking at the thin orange line and @ 2200 rpm already at 440 tq by 3200 rpm just shy of 500 tq. Thats's on 91 oct.
No Idea if that is good. Like I siad before #'s are just #'s but I will say it again THE CAR IS INSANE. You touch the peddel and it feels like you just got rear ended by a mac truck and that my friend is a FANTASTIC feeling . Again I'm not a know it all about these cars but I have messed around alot with THIS CLS63 and good or bad #'s the car will beat any of my past CLS63 records. without a dout. We will have track #'s as soon as I can get to the raceway. No one wants to see what it will do more than I.....

No they are sitting in my garage. I'm not sure if I can use them. Ken Rudy was excited that I got them, then he talked to the head engine builder at renntech and they told Ken that it would be a waste of time because the specs of the E55 cams and C55 cams are very close.

I would have thought there would be enough of a difference between k and non k motors that the cams would be worth at least the effort. where's finny...he's the one to ask!
