I got the shaft with Stealth's grill so i don't want a repeat. Offer me money back guarantee and I'll pay to test fit. Tired of painting my grill every 6 months.

 

ok what happened with stealth? Painting? This is CF, there's nothing to paint. Like any CF piece that is clearcoated, if you're afraid of rock chips, clearbra it. You want to pay to test fit what? It's already been tested and ready to go. Just sounds like you want to see it in person before you buy it.

 

The Stealth on had one of the slats bulge out and Stealth wouldn't replace it without wanting the NTSB to get involved. UNPROFESSIONAL, considering I paid retail and got one of the first ones out.

Yes, I want to make my final decision with it on my car but am willing to pay up front to test it.

 

Never knew Seatlth made some. Anyway, you'll see the grill soon enough. At $250, it's VERY VERY Well priced!

Stealth had a flat black version of the OEM, NOT CF. I'm not a CF fan, but like the slats and the black look. Just keep an extra in your trunk and I'm sure I'll take it when I see yours

 

+1 turned out a lot nicer than I originally thought! Props to DCT for getting out new products for the W211. Loving the DTM steering wheel Ivan.

BUT, what I'd be really interested are CF trim pieces to replace the chrome trim on the w211 molding.

I'm sure there would be tons of interest in that. Up for the challenge?

 

Some of it isn't replaceable, like on the impact strips. It's all one piece. If you take it off that stuff breaks I believe -not 100% sure though.

Man that looks sick and I might have a friend that would love one for his ride. Have you though about making one for the SL 3 slats grill.

 

The grill should arrive to me Friday by 3pm, or maybe even tomorrow, who knows. I'll take pics as soon as I get it. I'll also be at the SoCal Euro Big Meet in San Diego this Saturday and will be at the Euroteck Motorsports booth, come by and check it out in person!

yep mine is all black , I would have painted it white to match but im going with the white/ blk theme so i ended up doing it blk. PM if you you want direction or pics how to do it. sorry for being off topic

Will you post pics of your car? I was thinking about painting all the crome black on mine as well, id love to see pics!

Jangy saw it in person and can attest to the design and quality and he's getting one.

I should point out that this one is the very first grill made, so those of you who saw it up front and noted some slight imperfections, be aware that these will not appear on the final product.
