I drive a CVPI daily too

Sucks about the grill... after seeing the post below, it doesn't look right

You're the one that drives the Crown Vic every day, Dude. Use your eyes and the similarity will come to you.

Oh yes, too bad you made a bad purchase on the Crown Vic grille. Are you in the market for a Blue Oval to go on your vehicle?

c'mon, he's a "brother" (work related), be nice to him.

Anyway, DCT is aware of the situation and is doing its best to rectify it. Don't give up on this yet! Come on, I came up with the design

Seriously, I do hope the grilling problem comes to an end.

Hmm. I just bought a flat star for the hood, but this is such a nice emblem ...

Nice to see DCT stepping up. Mine has all the threads, the two on the right just will not line up. The one in the pic above is a mess, looks melted. REally love this idea, but i guess we will never get the look of the Brabus CLS grille..

To be fair, you can't compare the Rocket grill on the CLS to the W211. The hood opening isn't really accomodating for much on the 211. :\

about the carbon grill

I test fit the production run grills
The molding and shape is ok, but the thread holes don't line up with all 6 holes on metal hood. it is impossible to hold the grill by the bolts we provided but I managed to use the original tapping screws tighten the 5 holes securly!
I will improve this on our design and overcome this problem soon and buyers can not accept the fitment, please PM me for return and refund!
This is our first time try to make a grill with firberglass molding and by checking the design or Mercedes OEM grill, we now understand why MB designed using clips and screws, it provide the clips in a "floating" positions and can allow the screws hold the grill with more tolerance! again we tried to provide products to the community but still need some experiences and trials to make products better! thank you for the support and PM me for the follow ups!

2005 e55 amg
finally installed mine over the weekend but using the bolts provided, it went in fine. I didnt use the 2 bolts on the outer edges of the grill but you dont need them as it is in there nice and tight. Finish is excellent and is straight without curves or blemishes. Whether I got an updated grill from the first batch Im not sure but I would highly recommend to anyone that likes the look.

I was wondering if you happen to have one of these grills available still or could make me one ? I’m happy to pay asking price via PayPal etc if you wanted to inbox /dm me etc , I have spent the past week searching for this exact grill to fit my e55 and cannot find any available and I have to have one on my car , it’ll need to be shipped to Australia and I’m also happy to cover the shipping ontop of the cost of the grill cost of it , I’ll try contact you guys via a International phone call if need be , please let me know as soon as possible when it becomes available to purchase I absolutely love the look of this , it doesn’t need to be carbon fibre if that’s easier and less time consuming , I had a very similar styled grill on my w294 wagon and it was my favourite part of the car aesthetically
