Per the Godfather requested, We made this carbon grill ~

Forum member The Godfather made this request about 3 months ago and we send 2 grills back to our factory and made this carbon grill! We already have the mold so we can produce whatever Qty needed! We are thinking put a honeycomb mesh behind since it looks kind of hollow from the front! let us know what you think and we are taking order right now for $249 + shipping for first 10 sets!

have been fangin for a carbon grill for ages - good stuff. agree re mesh behind though, although I cant work out if it is just the angle / lighting of the photo that makes behind the grill so visible.

mesh would cut down on air flow, but the spacing in the grill does not seem to be the same as the stock grill. stock grill has 5 bars between the outline vs. your grill of 3 bars.

Your worst nightmare...
Looks a bit wider than OEM grill... Other than that looks pretty good.

That will look sick on a silver or white car...

You don't really even notice it on that car, because of the dark paint.

I think it looks that way because the factory grille has two pieces, making the slats thicker. With this grille though, I could envision a couple of cone air filters behind it.

Air flow will be much higher with this grille and you can fabricate the air intake to catch more air = more hp.

i think it would compliment a 07+ W211 front end more than the one displayed and Vic is spot on about the gaping it seems a lil weird. sick nontheless.

to the OP make the 3 slat CF grille for the W204 and youll make sum CHEESE here on the forum.

Spacing on the slats are a bit much. Maybe, a black mesh grill behind it would make it look better?

should ask for opinion first~

If I know there will be so many different opinions on this grill design, I should have asked before making it! We made this based on this picture Godfather sent us...
Will look for honeycomb mesh to complete the back first then see what it looks like

Take it as constructive suggestions I reckon if you got the slats a bit tighter or with mesh behind you would have orders coming out of your ears from here - me included...
