Just bought a summer car to compliment the E63.

just bought a new baby to join my E63 as a summer fun car... wondering how many of you have tastes that vary as much as mine? Here are some pics of it being loaded onto a trailer, I'll see the car (hopefully) on Wednesday. I'm just as fired up as when I took delivery of the E. And no, unfortunately its not a 4 spd or tripower car... And yes, better rims/tires are on their way.

I posted these pics on the GTO forum, but I spend way more time over here on the AMG forum, so I thought I'd show it to you guys. Thanks for looking!

389, numbers matching, 69k original miles, motor's never been cracked open. Original red interior, perfect. All docs including protecto-plate. 2 speed auto with 3.23 posi. That'll probably get annoying so I may retrofit a th400 or 200r4 if no cutting is involved. Slow car, but hey, I've got a 12 sec daily driver, right? Z

Nice! I love the large old American cars. It is a slow car, but they always look better cruising anyways. Enjoy it.

Ya rite.

Mark my words, once you start with the tranny, you'll move on to upgrading something else. Then something else, then something else, and on and on. Next thing u know, that GTO will be keeping up with the benz. You know how this works, once you start hitting the mod-pipe it just keeps flowing from there.

Kewl... I recently sold my 69 Bronco built motor, headers, 3" rancho lift etc.. That damn'd car got so many hotties after it, I should have my head examined for selling, but can't keep everything.

I agree. A bit expensive, but something like this should do the trick nicely:

Your ride is beautiful...

And thanks guys for all the complements. CWW, that motor is freakin' sick... I'd probably stick with a worked 455, at least it's still a pontiac. You can get 650 horse out of them without too much trouble...

Beautiful! Before the mod trip, start with tires. Cheapest way to shave a second off.

Next, faster diff. Leave engine/tranny alone.
