E63 Lease Deal??...???
Maybe a MF of .00225 (I believe that to be current rate)is as good as it's gonna get??? I think our best deal is to be had middle-end of summer when they're discounting W211's by $20-25k. By then, I fully expect a new '09 with p030 to be had for a cap cost of around $80k. Non '09 p030's prolly gonna go for <$75k. With those cap #'s, $999+tax w/ minimal drive-offs for non-p030 cars will be very within reach. E63's are rotting on MBZ lots all across America. Stealers are going to get bloodied on them, period.
All of these '09 W211's that are piling up aren't going to suddenly sell/lease in the meantime, but you can prolly get a pretty good cap ($15k off) on exactly what you want right now. MBZ has got to find a way to price their leases better if they don't want to find themselves with the same problem moving the W212's. IMO.

RobDoc I agree that the sticker prices are much higher than they should be, which is why residuals and resale values plummet immediately. $100K+ for an E63 just seems like waaayyy too much.
Take my own situation as an example...
My '05 Comp. Pack. M3SMG had a sticker of $60,700. My 36 mo/30k mi. residual was like $36k (59%). In mid '08, the private party used M3 market supported that value, and then some. Remember that was even at a time that the new generation 2007 M3 (w/ DCT) had been out for a full year!
Certainly the E46 Ms held up remarkably well (at least here in socal) until very recently.
