About exhaust drone ...
Hello guys,
I replaced stock reso with 2 straight pipes and stock mufflers with 2 straight-style custom mufflers.
And I finally got aggressive growl ... that's what I wanted ... but annoying exhaust drone too ... at 1.5k ~ 2.0k RPM ...
How can I remove exhaust drone without reducing sound? ...
Will x-pipe help?

Isn't droning typically part of the tradeoff for having straight pipes & the really gnarly aggressive growl? Of all my cars I've had w/straight pipes, they droned on the freeway. The drone comes along with the growl. I'd love to hear how to solve it though.

i thought removing the resonators doesn't cause a drone? Thats all you did? all cats in place? You are like the 1st person to say it drones

Whatever we're tuning!
You need to change the frequency/velocity of the exhaust gases which will get rid of that annoying drone.
Try this:
Drop the car down one gear so it is revving a little higher and the drone should disappear like magic and the car will be more ready than ever to ROMP!!!
