They do it based on the overall rolling diameter now. No sensor anymore so no accurate reading.

what up max. so r u keeping the wheels or selling them? These are def the performance package wheels as others have said. They should be gunmetal in the metal like non-perf. package E63 wheels. AMG wheels are well built from my experience

These wheels are all silver color, they're not dual-toned like the stock E63 ones.

Most car manufacturers are using the 4 sensor method, which gives 4 measurements (one for each tire). I don't know why Mercedes went with the "cheap" option

By the way, Steve at MBenzNL can easily install the high-level TPMS (sensor-based TPMS)

As I read the manual, the Canadian 63's has 4 sensors. US laws don't require them I bet and cheaper.

This guy sounds like a very valuable asset to MBWorld community. Does he have a shop or business called MBenzNL?
I sent him a PM a couple of weeks ago and NO response. How does one do business with him?

His business is called MBenzNL, but the company is located in New Zealand. He travels around the world to install OEM upgrades. He can install almost ANY option that the factory offers: parktronic, distronic, COMMAND, Navigation, Premium 2 package, etc..... He can also install options that are available in Europe but not in the U.S. For example, electronic folding mirrors are not available on the E-Class in the U.S., but they are available in Europe. He can install those easily. He can also install the high-end TPMS (4-sensors) that other countries get instead of the cheap version Mercedes installs in U.S. cars. And this is just the tip of the ice burg, he can do a bunch of version coding, AMG door sills, iPod connections, EURO COMMAND for playing DVDs, etc....

The best way of contacting him is through his e-mail address: mbenznl@gmail.com, as he usually replies to e-mails much faster than PMs.

Out of curiosity, which option are you trying to install?

Mo-
For sure I would like to do the Euro COMAND for DVD playing capability.

When I PM'ed him earlier, I was looking for the CF interior trim to see what he could do. I ended up sending my interior trim to an aftermarket shop in Bellevue, WA. to have it laminated instead.

Mine has TPMS, I saw the module inside the rim when I got new tires put on

They will be transferred over to my new rims when I get them sometime this week.
