NAVIGATION UPGRADE
My question what would be the advantages of swapping my 2004(05/04)navigation screen and navigation drive with a navigation from a 2007 E350 I did a search and came up with very little info... thanks guys.....

^^^^ you both are right.... they are both DVD based and not hard drive.... So the 2007 navigation drive is not a more faster and advaced dvd drive than that in my 04build????

Correct. To add to that there is also a wiring harness available already to make the swap a bit easier.
