What Is An Appropriate Discount From MSRP for 2010 E63?

Please, limit this to serious discussion. No "MAN I WOULDN'T TAKE THAT CAR FOR FREE!" or the Hyundai discussion etc...

That being said, that opinion is out there, and should thus affect the price of this vehicle to some degree, if only a small one.

SO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION: Given today's economic climate, what is "fair value" for a 212 E63?

With 25k off of MSRP being offered on the CL63, SL63, C63; 20K off the CLS; and 15k off of a 09 E63 by a huge dealer in Chicago that I've done business with in the past, what is fair price for a 212 E63?

5-7k off? Also take into acct that if you add the panarama roof (1100), the Driver Assistance Package (2900; includes blindspot assist, distronic, driver assistance, lane keeping assist), Premium 2 (4900) and the AMG package (TBD, but in all likelihood 8000ish) you are looking at 17k in options (yikes).

Thank you all for your help. I know I'm the minority, but as bad as I want this vehicle in black on black, I can wait a bit if I'm going to get squeezed on price.

Currently in South Florida the 09 Es are $20K off and not moving, they have been undermined by the C63.
I think $10K off would be easy to do, heck the E63s were marked down $9K when they came out, during the "good old days".
Keep in mind that the W212 cost less to produce than the W211 and has a lower base MSRP so the discount would be greatest on a loaded car.
Did you receive the AMG marketing E-mail?
In the case you did not know the W212 has its own form here, and would have a much more receptive group than the W211 crowd, and more price info on what is currently available.

MSRP is most likely going to be your response for the first few weeks on the 212's. I know that the discounts will come, as we all do, but for the first few lucky buyers MSRP will probably be the number.

Facelifted model with a better transmission--- Ill bet MSRP to start and as demand tapers off the numbers will come down. It also depends on how many are being allocated as well.

first few months 500 off is going to be all you will get. As it gets older maybe 1k.
