If it flows too quickly, it may not have sufficient time to cool in the H/E.

In the reservoir the coolant is under pressure. No cooling effect there at all.

It would be worth testing, but I'd wager time in a large enough heat exchanger (Obviously the larger the better) at stock flow rates is probably best. I'll bet flow rates were tested by MB for the inter cooler itself. So simply feeding lower temp coolant at the factory rate should work very well.

I think the heat trapped under hood is the white elephant in the room. The temps I got were pretty shocking.

As long as the CFM flow is not compromised you will be fine....

yes, i have one of the OBDII scan tools with the live data feature.
