No, I'm pretty sure it is the AMG that is bulletproof cause of the Presidential Limo. It's a Cadillac, but it is an AMG. Isn't it??

Hmm.. Maybe you are right. I sure thought V12 meant bulletproof, but you might be right. AMG makes sence. I know in my 3rd world country, we make sure that everyone knows our car is bullett proof with both badges!
The AMG and the V12 ensure EVERYONE knows we have a bullet proof car. We do that because bullets in my country are expensive, and when they see V12 / AMG, they wont shoot becuase they waste bullets.

it depends... did it have an AMG badge on it? Then it's definitely an AMG, because anything with an AMG badge is AMG. Thats what they do at the factory, they put the badge, its AMG. The only problem is, I don't think the presidential limo has a V12, it's probably a 6.2 L V-8. Oh, yeah, there is an AMG one of those, too... so it is most certainly both bulletproof and AMG.

1 block from my house this morning. Wanted to take a picture of the driver, but a cop was coming, and this guy was blocking the street.
The emblem is even crooked... wow... oh, and one back up light on when brakes are on. That must be an AMG feature

2004 E55 AMG
I saw a C300 Miniature(the emblem is tiny!) AMG heading to Charleston, SC a few weeks ago. Sadly, I was in my g/f's '95 E350(I think). Probably would have still given that "AMG" a run for it's money.

I had mine debaged for a while, and a lot of people were not sure if it was an AMG or not(have to be car illiterate to not know).
It felt too naked, but I didn't like the chrome badging. I decided to get the badges painted matte black, and then had a body shop install them correctly.
They look great, especially on tectite gray metallic.

You think its funny but OMG there is a person where I like who has a C240 W203 and its baged as a CLK240 and her Euro plate says CLK240. I told her its a C Class but she says its a CLK. She won the car in a raffle. I know this because she was a local who comes into my buisness once in a while. They must of badged them wrong or something.

fwiw, I debadged my E63 only because I just like the cleaner look and the sleeper factor.
But I notice that a lot of E350s (or anything without a V8) are debadged. I never see 550s debadged. I'm guessing without the badge that some owners hope others might think they have a 550

most of these guys are total boneheads, but for some reason, that seems like even bigger bone-head-ery! I think it is the amg badge on a 500 car (didn't even pretend at a 55) followed by the douchiness of adding a friggin hybrid badge...
by the way, on the poser topic, how would people feel about me debadging the S65, and rebadging it a S350 bluetec just to mess with people? especially at the track - I can see the redneck disbelief now... "whoa, did you see that?!! I thought my dodge cummins diesel was fast, you see that Mercedes diesel?" Does this make me a reverse poser? If so, I may just debadge...
