a real race is 1/4 or at least up to triple digit u dumb azz and stop insulting other people immature racing GL450. Not even a GL550. 450 is the most basic of GL model and stop bragging about your FAT azz car. why keep telling 0-60 u really think that's a race ? and Yes, i am much older than you as I can see immature who has no idea what u talking. I have 2 kids and i have a Odyssey NOT for race !

Anyway, aside from that little petty insult, never have I insulted you or anyone else recently. Nor did I recently brag about other "kills" recently.
BUT, The MOST basic GL is the GL350 Bluetech which is cheaper and waaaay slower than the 450/550. So get your facts right. The 550 is only marginally quicker/faster with only a 40 HP bump in power. Plus, it's heavier too since it comes standard with a bunch of options whereas my GL450 has way less options. On paper and in the real world, BOTH are pretty close with the edge of the 550. That's it.
Really, this side of mbworld really has a tough crowd and is full of snobs like you. If you don't like reading my posts then don't respond! How hard is that? I wonder how you'd feel if I'd just decided to trade my in "big fat azz car" (nice spelling) for a used 04 E55 AMG and put some mods in it for less. Then you'd probably wouldn't be acting like an angry internet guy waiting to explode.

You're right about the E55 AMG being a better modding platform. No arguements there really. However I recall someone from the m5board who DOES have a Dinan S3 Stroker who made 550rwhp on a dyno. I believe he had extra custom headers installed in addition to the stroker.

there is actually a m5board vid where they dont totally rig the outcome of a evosport/dinan M5 vs another german sedan... i was quite surprised, must be under new management 
albiet it was a 725 hp audi rs6 so i guess they knew it would be a bit of stretch to come up with the m5 winning that battle lol
i soooo wish that car got clearance for sale in the US

Some loser GL driver comes into a super sedan section brags about racing a ML, like anyone gives a f.u.k and then puts down a guy for his English which is obviously not his first language. My advice is to go back to the soccer mom section and brag about your kills. You have worn out your welcome here. Just another member to take this forum down hill. Good job there studly.

Maybe I should lay down the gantlet with my ML500. I'm running an aftermarket tune and the 7 speed tyranny. Just might be too much for the GL
I'm guessing we are close of HP but my ML is lighter.

And I care about being welcomed to this "nice welcoming" full of class board? From my time of lurking here before hand, I could already see that it was going downhill already. Makes me feel sort of bad to the image of AMG owners. Luckily, there's always an outlier and that's one of my friends. He currently has a C63 AMG and he's one of the nicest considerate people one can meet.

They banned me too. All I did was point out what makes a 2004 S55 different than a normal pre-facelift S500.

The fact that this Dr. Slick Ramy guy who poses to have the most rarest exotic white 750i in the world bragging and self boosting OR that you can tell BMW owners (most*) anything and they will fall for it? Why can't the other members spot that he's a big lying douche? Do BMW owners have a really low intellectual capacity limit?
