Wow ... just wow!
He describes it as "the ultimate head turner" although I don't think he realises why everyone is actually staring at him.
My favorite part would have to be the "blacked out Petite le Mans-style lighting" which to the untrained eye just looks like a piece of shade cloth crudely wrapped around the lights. It perfectly matches the tablecloth wrapped around the grille with a horse superglued to it.
And the pièce de résistance for those sitting on the fence is "car trimmed in 24 karat gold".
"May entertain trade for Lambo kit car" - Bummer I don't have a Lambo kit car to trade, oh and it's the other side of the world - oh well, obviously not meant to be...

And to think, this car was apparently once an SL R129. Now it is an R129 with all of the class, style, and understated elegance removed. Sad really.

E500 AMG
I was driving past a nature reserve car park and the familiar W211 shape caught my attention. Within this fleeting glance I also noticed E63 wheels and dual exhaust - interesting enough to warrant further inspection so turned around to look closer.
As I was taking the pictures Mr Coolio in his Sunday best casually saunters along with his girlfriend by his side. He intentionally wasnt looking at me and 'seemed' more interested in taking in the view of the river and park that he had just returned from so I assumed it wasnt the owner. When I climbed back in the ****box I was driving at the time and started driving off he then approached his car and got in. Shame I wasnt in the beast then there could be no mistaking my reason for taking the photos.
My mate was saying with a smirk "Why don't you say to him "AMG huh...?" and "I hope to own my own AMG one day..." but frankly I was just embarrassed for the guy and it appeared he might of been also.
Also I didn't want to either:
hear him lie, or
hear that he actually believed he owned an AMG, in which case I'd have to give him the bad news, or
hear him fess up with and admit he was already silently punishing himself for his poor judgement and preying on others gullibility, or
hear him make bull**** excuses and arrogantly attempt to justify his inherent right to adorn HIS car with whatever the hell HE wants to, in which case we would have to have an argument, or
make him feel like a wannabe in front of his date any more than he did already
But really - if you're gonna go so far as to add the V8 Kompressor badges to the front why would you leave the E500 badges on the rear? And more importantly the E500 is sorta almost an E55 and a great car in its on right so why pretend...?
Wasn't until afterwards when I was looking at the photos at home that I noticed Mr Coolio lurking at the end of the path on the very first photo I took:
