Anyone have before and after dynos of 172mm Pulley and Tune?

Serge,
Thanks for the clarification, but the numbers still seem a bit off to me. It seems that with Stage 2 mods, you are saying you picked up ~86.3rwhp with that CLS and ~70.4rwhp with that E55, again doing just pulley/ecu/heat exchanger/shorty headers (I understand the E55 did not have your headers)???

Can someone help me understand this? The dyno graph shows VERY HIGH HP but seems to have low torque.
This the complete opposite of my setup, where I have high torque but low HP.

The torque scale is on the right hand side of the graph. It makes the graph a little strange to read, since I typically like to see the horsepower/torque curve cross at 5252 rpm, but that won't happen if there is two scales. You can see it happen in your graph AZIPOD.

I wonder what happened with my HP!!!!!

I guess everythings getting bigger and better on our E55s. I still have the old evo pulley on mine, small evo reservoir, I can only Imagine the gains in HP/TQ when I slap Serges 180 mm and go with a trunk reservoir.

Serg you are 100% right with all your figures
I am in Australia and e55 komp's on a DD dyno are making around 400rwhp.
There is a tuning work shop here in sydney that is the only tuning work shop that i know of in sydney that has the program to give a full tune to the ecu not only a flash but a full tune.
They tune your car with stock HEADERS, STANDARD PULLEY and NO COOLING MOD oh yea all they do is drop in K&N filters.
With the full stock car with k&n 's with a full tune NOT FLASH and they get 35 to 40rwkw gain so you leave there with about 335 to 340rwkw! so with just a pulley alone and re tune you would hit the dyno figures serg is saying!!
So serg you a spot on keep up the strong tunning

What is the stock pulley size? Anyone know?
I understand that tunes like LET, Powerchip, etc. are basically ECU flashes that rewrite the A/F ratios and default octane setting, but what other elements of the ECU do they adjust?
I'm running the original ASP pulley (177.6mm?) and want to find the proper amount to increase my A/F ratio. After I set it to 12% increase, the car still feels slower than when I didn't touch the ECU. Thoughts...?

Recently, I adjusted my A/F to be a 12% increase in fuel because data was showing that I was running pretty lean. (I was told that the 178mm ASP was the largest one could go without having to do an ECU tune). Also set the minimum octane rating to 87. Now the car feels slower than before
Should have just gone with an LET or Powerchip or something instead of trying to manually tune it I suppose. Im thinking of just going back to stock since the heat wasnt that bad (plus I drove without a tune for about 3 years on it). Once PTE's thermostat is installed, I'd stay 178mm on a stock ECU is safe...and FAST

Hi,
Can someone explain what the difference is of installing say a 172mm pulley v 180mm pulley please. This is with no other mods apart from an accompanying tune / remap.
I've been told that the max boost increase with a pulley kit is 0.2bar as beyond this there will be a requirement for further mods especially one's that help cooling, is this the case?
Would a 180mm pulley and tune yield a larger bhp gain with a 0.2 bar boost increase than a 172mm pulley, or do they both yield the same bhp gain but with different power delivery across the rev range?
Thanks
Jules.

Do you know how the size of the pulley relates to boost etc?
Jules.
