Fighting Torque-1mile event

Ok considering going to this event in August ...

www.fightingtorque.org

1 mile drag race.... 2 mile airstrip... some really great cars.

I guess a great cooling system
would be essential, what else?

Any advice welcome.

Btw quaife and code3 h/e going in vv soon!

Tires!!!! Then of course do a complete car inspection , for saftey. Driveshaft should also be checked. Some races like that require drive shaft loop to be installed.

100 shot of nitrous for the first 10 seconds of the two mile run and also spray the 1 mile run.

Give it a bit of time.

In 2007 Autocar Mag (Chris Harris) ran an LP640 there, here is their vid on Youtube.....oh yes and that's me in the opening shot in the black BMW 335d against the Lambo...

The 2 RX7's must have a V8 or V10 (which would not fit) as a 13b engine displacement is 1300 CCs (the 12A is 1100 CC's). Unless they dropped in a piston (ie 5.7L Vette motor) powerplant, the displacements are way off.
