Stock E55 AMG Dyno results (Dynojet)
1st pull- Standard: 421whp 465wtq
SAE: 411whp 451 TQ
The second and third pull he did directly after the 1st pull without letting the car cool off.
2nd pull- Standard: 410Whp ( did not record )
SAE: 400whp 451tq
3rd pull- Standard: 391whp ( did not record )
SAE: 381whp 442wtq
After the 3rd run I put the ice packs back on top of the engine and waited about 30 mins for the car to cool down. The guy doing the dyno did a 4th pull which for some reason was not recorded so he did a 5th pull right after the 4th and got this...
5th pull- Standard: 414whp ( did not record )
SAE: 404whp 438wtq

Very good running stocker, exactly where it should be.
The videos will be up in a little guys, im out with the girls tonite, should be back a little later. The video is very nice..
IF anyone is wondering what is the dip on the RED scale, its the Car downshifting from 4th to 3rd. But still early enough to get a good run for peak HP reading.
OOO me and mthis were in the impala, 335i was home and the C63 was getting some work done, so went with the impala, a word of advice if there are any impala lurkers on this forum, dont do a roll on with a E55......

If Benz gets me my last bearing tomorrow I wil be running it fri at a track rental, although the track i will be at is not the best for altitude i am dying to see what it runs.
Question for you,Did you do the ECU relearn previous to the runs?
Did you set it in dyno mode?
also if you set the trans in "M" mode wont it stay in gear without downshifting?

what a difference when a healthy E55 is putting down what it should.. without IC pump issues.
Too bad the youtube videos of previous runs will always live to around and not tell the full story.
What I find very interesting though it the loss of 30hp from the first run to the third run. Just goes to show how much heat soak can really affect these cars. Both times I went to the stip I came in hot off the street and hot-lapped it, running a 12.35 @ 114(on my third pass in a row I believe, car felt sloooooowww). I would imagine in cool weather with a cool engine I would easily gain another 20-30hp, especially after seeing this. I heard that Ford's GT500's were down about 40 hp when they did back to back runs on the dyno.

The heatsoak seen on the dyno does not show what would happen in "real world" situation.. For example at 155mph at WOT the car was recieving 20 mph of air haha. But, yes, in the dyno room, back to back runs did lose from the first to last run 30WHP which i would say in real world driving would be less. With alot more air passing the RAD, oil cooler, and H/E. Just a guess though.
Just got home guys gonna upload the pics and vids in a couple minutes.
