Ok, I'll pm you my number-- let's try and make it a night time run, the heat is unbearable during the day and we'll both have better launches at night. Text me or call me before tonight or Friday and let's set something up for Saturday or Sunday-- I'm free both days, so realistically it's whenever you can do it!

Holy crap! Great numbers for no ECU/TCU tune, you're really pumping the power The Ricker! Too bad there was no torque reading as it would be great to see. I remember Treynor's S600 stock doing 481.50rwhp and I thought that was amazing over factory claims, yours took it even higher, that's 610hp on the crank, sheesh.

If the ECU/TCU tune gets you another 40-50rwhp and a boatload of torque you'll be ruling many things on the road. Too bad there was no torque reading as it would be nice to compare torque numbers you got now to the new ones the ECU/TCU will get you. For epic ownage, don't forget 100 octane and I'm sure that extra IC reservoir will seal the deal in consistent and optimal power being made over and over again as JWade's CL proved that with him having one in his car.

If there is one thing I see with many boosted AMG cars such as the 55K and 600/65 cars is that cooling is just as essential as the power mods itself. You can't use the power you make if it can't come on consistently and safely. Keep us updated with what's to come. Who will be doing the ECU/TCU tune? VRP?

You can't go wrong with a 600 car, Who's tuning it? Powerchip or Fedor Dezyn/Vadim? I believe they are near each other.

Sean, it was a pleasure as always talking to you again..... and let me just say you have one h*ll of a super freaky B E A S T. The car is running unbelievably strong and that explains a lot of the freeway kills you've been enjoying lately

I can't wait to see your car on the track, you'll definitely be among the fastest benz in the west

From HK Motorsport Shop owner Harry, smokin' deal to see how we ALL stack-up on his Dyno-jet (5) car minimum = $65 for 3 pulls!! I'll start another thread but wanted to update here as well
here is how it goes :
5+cars RWD only up to 10cars in any up coming sundays (sooner the better)
it will be $65 per car cash - no CC or checks
same as yesterday features : HP -
TQ if only spark plug wire present , no ignition spark plug wire no TQ numbers as you know
wide band 02 air/fuel ratio
3 pulls

honestly i don't care for big big amount of cars ,if the more cars more time to organise everything
and then it doesnt happen

Race gas is a Turbo's best friend (next to an ecu).

Yeah.... I wonder what kind of numbers Sean's car would put down in the winter when it's 40 F instead of 90-100 F

I tot agree, & think she made the extra 15 RWHP+ or so off of 95 octane...
Having said that you'll never find me racing w/out an empty bott of Torco in trunk

Friend just told me about a 76 station off Chesbro (sp) from (101) S. that has 100 oct on tap I'll be checkin' dat soon! anybody else confirm this?

Extra note: On Superflow Dyno, I was going to go back their & re-dyno w/proper cooling/ice as I did @ HK Motorsports Dynojet, but after calling Bottle Blown Racing w/Superflow to verify settings they used on my SL600 the vehicle Curb Weight is extremely important on SF/MD/DD

They dialed my heavy *** SL in @ only 4000lbs (in reality 4420-4480lbs) which further skewed the dyno reading a bit lower, as well as entering wrong gear ratio (even tho I wrote it on liability release form & told them multi-times 2.65 gears, made the RPM readings way higher than they should've been etc)

They also ran my car continually 8-9 pulls less than 3-4 min between pulls, only managed to get (2) clean runs on Superflow, operator kept downshifting to 3rd then continued to back-off throttle & re-run dyno pull needless to say DON'T waste your time @ Bottle Blown Racing in Camarillo, CA

Heat-soaked IC's automatically pulled timing & added fuel, in a way I tricked the ECU into thinking ambient air was cooler than reality...Plus tail pipe A/F always reads a bit leaner, only accurate A/F is measured by a bung before cats.

Experts chime in if I'm off??

Phenomenal results - that's some serious HP.

How much do you attribute to your custom CAI?

Easily majority, since 3" Cat-back is mostly for sound. The 600/65 has MAJOR restrictive 90 degree bends thru-out stock boxes I simply relieved them

Really? I never got a missed call from you. My phone just randomly shuts off lately... I was partying out in your hood last weekend with some friends.

I just noticed your AFR 12.7 really lean for a turbo motor. It's not like your motor is direct injection... Get a tune and fatten it up dude.

I think A/F of 12.50 is average for un-tuned 600/65

I saw 12.50 A/F on the Superflow 3 wks ago...

Cheseboro Offramp of the 101 freeway. The 76 Station you can see on the south side of the freeway. It's on a frontage road (Dorothy Drive) next to the freeway southbound ramp.
