SL600 - DynoJet (Read, you speed freaks!)
Let me know when and if it's going to happen. I have a few things going on this weekend but if we roll at a time when I can get away fer a bit I'm always down!
BTW...One of the runs that you were door to door with me was cause I started in the wrong gear. I was trying to get down to the right gear to start but didn't have time. Oh well no excuses...Just bad timing on my part

Dont forget me beaaaaaaaaatch The GT-R needs to be run so I can see how the tune is working in the real world against others.
If the ECU/TCU tune gets you another 40-50rwhp and a boatload of torque you'll be ruling many things on the road. Too bad there was no torque reading as it would be nice to compare torque numbers you got now to the new ones the ECU/TCU will get you. For epic ownage, don't forget 100 octane and I'm sure that extra IC reservoir will seal the deal in consistent and optimal power being made over and over again as JWade's CL proved that with him having one in his car.
If there is one thing I see with many boosted AMG cars such as the 55K and 600/65 cars is that cooling is just as essential as the power mods itself. You can't use the power you make if it can't come on consistently and safely.
Keep us updated with what's to come. Who will be doing the ECU/TCU tune? VRP?

and that explains a lot of the freeway kills you've been enjoying lately

I can't wait to see your car on the track, you'll definitely be among the fastest benz in the west
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
5+cars RWD only up to 10cars in any up coming sundays (sooner the better)
it will be $65 per car cash - no CC or checks
same as yesterday features : HP -
TQ if only spark plug wire present , no ignition spark plug wire no TQ numbers as you know
wide band 02 air/fuel ratio
3 pulls
honestly i don't care for big big amount of cars ,if the more cars more time to organise everything
and then it doesnt happen

You need to attend
Having said that you'll never find me racing w/out an empty bott of Torco in trunk

Friend just told me about a 76 station off Chesbro (sp) from (101) S. that has 100 oct on tap
I'll be checkin' dat soon! anybody else confirm this?
Extra note: On Superflow Dyno, I was going to go back their & re-dyno w/proper cooling/ice as I did @ HK Motorsports Dynojet, but after calling Bottle Blown Racing w/Superflow to verify settings they used on my SL600
the vehicle Curb Weight is extremely important on SF/MD/DDThey dialed my heavy *** SL in @ only 4000lbs (in reality 4420-4480lbs) which further skewed the dyno reading a bit lower, as well as entering wrong gear ratio (even tho I wrote it on liability release form & told them multi-times 2.65 gears, made the RPM readings way higher than they should've been etc)
They also ran my car continually 8-9 pulls less than 3-4 min between pulls, only managed to get (2) clean runs on Superflow, operator kept downshifting to 3rd then continued to back-off throttle & re-run dyno pull
needless to say DON'T waste your time @ Bottle Blown Racing in Camarillo, CA

I saw 12.50 A/F on the Superflow 3 wks ago...
Edit: I think I figured it out, adding the cool down & Icing-IC's made the car run leaner than previous heat-soaked (more average condition) runs on Superflow Dyno where my A/F right @ 12.50
Heat-soaked IC's automatically pulled timing & added fuel, in a way I tricked the ECU into thinking ambient air was cooler than reality...Plus tail pipe A/F always reads a bit leaner, only accurate A/F is measured by a bung before cats.
Experts chime in if I'm off??

I just noticed your AFR
12.7 really lean for a turbo motor. It's not like your motor is direct injection... Get a tune and fatten it up dude.
