E55/CLS55 Long tubes are here! W/ Dyno!!
Our E55 and CLS55 long tubes are complete and 100% ready for sale!
Headers are made with 321 US stainless steel flanges and 304 US stainless steel runners with Vband clamp for easy mating to the stock E55 exhaust system.
These headers were made to the engine specs of the 55k, taking into consideration the bore, stoke, cam duration, and valve size. All this info was crunched into our computer aided header software for optimal design.
A customer came to us here in Scottsdale AZ after reading our press release on the C55 headers and said he had to have them. So he brought in his Renntech Stage 6 E55 complete with
RENNtech airbox
RENNtech ECU
RENNtech speedshift
RENNtech cooling system
RENNtech shorty headers
RENNtech pulley
RENNtech throttle body
Now fitted with the MBH long tube headers and test pipes the car made an astronomical 48whp and 17wtq. on 91oct!!!! I was blown away to say the least.
Here is a pre MBH header pull and a post MBH header pull.

I know its crazy! Its basically a total redesign of my headers. Extending some runners and tweaking the collector a bit
Its now a slightly bigger header than the C55 and it took alot of work to get this done. This R&D stuff is hard.
Still no collector under the body of the car, I feared people would bash it off something, especially people with lowered cars.
This is not an actual pic of the E55 header but its pretty damn close. and all the features are the same except we now are running a expensive vband clamp rather than the 3 bolt one i had before.

We have 4 E55's lined up already for these headers. What mods those cars have IDK? All results will be different it's just what it is. Like anything thats just what this car made on this day.
My brother is doing these headers on his bone stock CLS55 so that for sure will help. Its hard these days to find these cars in stock form that roll into a performance shop.

This car was already one bad E55 and had a tune on it. Ken Rudy from renntech is away on Biz so he didnt reflash the car, unless i missed something.

The car is coming back on Monday for some 100oct dyno tuning. Its going to be insane. We are shooting for 550whp
to clear it up this is just an aggressive 91 map in the car right now.

it only made 477rwhp with out the LT's? Its funny the day I dropped of the deposit for my LT's at Floored Fab. I stopped by Dyno Comp after and Rich was telling me about your LT's.

What mods do you have in your car? After you get your headers come by for a retune. I'm headed to Sapporo tonight for some drinks in Scottsdale. feel free to stop in for a drink on me. Just look for the guy in the redsox hat.

trust me I asked. we will need a RHD car to make this happen. I'm all for making things happen, but I have to have something to work with. I will keep pushing the topic as I know you guys are getting the shaft on these kind of mods.

It makes me wonder if shorties ever make any power There has to be some power gained by deleting the stock primary cats and just running the secondary cats.
I think the owner wants to delete his secondary cats, but i'm feeling there might be zippo gained or even power lost doing that at this point. I've never looked forward to a Monday in my life. As of now I am, cant wait to see what a race fuel dyno tune does.

I kinda wish we had a dyno with the primary cats installed so I can see what kind of gains are made from this setup without the cats. I tend to think there is 15 or so hp being made with the stock exhaust and not primary cats.
I'm feeling the power numbers go down once we install the cats. We will see the car will be on the dyno again Monday. If anyone in AZ wants to stop in a check out the headers and car in person feel free to stop by the shop Monday.

how hot was it during the pull? what the altitude?
I expected a bit more from a super modded stage 6.
I know the dyno machine will make a difference, but with those mods, it should of been at 500RWHP on basically any machine.
It must of been the heat, cuz even with a heat exchanger, there is no fan that can keep up.
However the LT are making power even with those conditions. I imagine is cooler weather and flatter ground.. it would be a nice mod.

Guys, everyone should remember that this is a Dyno Dynamics, NOT a dynojet. Stock 55 is 400rwhp, a car like mine is 430rwhp... and a VRP600 E55 does around 460rwhp. This was a STOUT E55 at 475rwhp... VERY stout.
That is impressive hooley, and I would really love to see how your basic pulley/HE/ECU car would benefit from these. This car already had RENNTech shorties and still gained a lot! Please keep us posted.

I think the base pull back in October was like 380whp or something like that under 400whp. I dont think this car has a very big pulley on it. So being in the 470 area seems about right.
Al I know is it was hot an humid out. So there has to be some correction factors
