How to detail your Engine bay?
I took the E55 to a car Show on Satuday in Tampa. So my boy insisted that I popped my hood and I really didn't want to becasue I knew it wasn't 100% clean under there.... I have to admit i was kinda uncomfortable with the hood popped open, but that all changed when I saw people's amazment of the car. I have cleaned alot of my previous car, but this is my first FI car so i'm a bit curious about methods... I usually keep the engine running while cleaning it....
What are your methods/special procedures?? Thanks

I wipe it down with a damp rag and use a boars-hair brush to get all the crevices. Then I use Aerospace 303 protectant.
I just do not feel same using a hose on my engine.

same here ascared to use water on new cars so i use a micofiber towel and degreaser, then i use a brush to get in to small spaces. After that you can dress your engine with Black WOW http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...ROD&ProdID=233
this is how my engine looks any day of the week:
