Get Paid to Use your Car in a Movie

I found this website and signed-up http://www.movievehicles.com/nwpc.htm For those of you in So Cal or else where it may be a good source for extra income and fun. It cost me $33.50 to register my three cars. WTF, they may actually contact me if they need cars in the NVA/DC/MD area.

I didn't have time to fully investigate the link, but my 1st thoughts would be Insurance policy being void if they used it in say a race scene, or off legal roads on movie-set. Obviously they must have some clause for the unfortunate occurrence. Having said all that what possible fee could/will they pay you for possible Movie-set abuse?

Highly doubt it would be worth the unknown condition you may receive your prized possession in after said use.

what happens if they damage the car or you have some dancer in high heels dancing on your hood for a video shoot.

If your car is used it may be for stationary background shots or normal street scenes. You have the option to drive your in the movie or let the "star" drive it. They are fully insured and cover the cost of any accident or damage to your car from its arrival time on the set to its departure time. I wouldn't risk any of my vehicles if I thought they would be damaged.

You stay with the car during its use and approve/disapprove whatever they want the car for.
