Modded W211 boost level and rev limiter?

I've been contemplating lowering compression on my car and increasing the boost. How much boost does an E55 actually run with a 180mm pulley? I understand it can be higher or lower depending on mods but a stock car with 180mm pulley runs how much boost? And when they are tuned what is the rev limiter increased too? In the next month I will either start a build or just get the car retuned.

Based on calculations from data logging, right at 14.75 to 15psi. The tune I had, the limitor stayed stock. I asked about rev. limitor increase last fall but it seemed no-one was raising them or it was a secret. 300 rpm would be nice for me. 5% or so.

Still need to get that tune put back in.

PS, I would go with an aluminum pulley if you need to go over 180mm. These 180mm are adding about 3lbs of weight to rotational mass.

Thanks for the info Maybe I should have been more clear, I was talking about raising the boost on my car which is a CLK55 with a kleemann charger. We can switch to smaller supercharger pulley with the klemann charger to a certain point and then go to bigger crank pulley. For now I'm at around 7.5 or 8PSI. The stock high compression is keeping me from taking it much higher. I thought I heard that some companies raise the rev limiter on the E55 to 6800

From what I remember reading, the boost falls off around 6200 RPM, so the higher RPMs are wasted unless you are tracking the car and want the higher RPMs.

What does Cory at Kleemann have to say about running higher boost through your motor? If the internals will hold up, you could run race gas and up the boost to 10-12 lbs and avoid detonation.

If you have the means or the money to lower compression then you should be looking at twin turbos and blow through the supercharger. Just my 2 cents

Hmmm not on my supercharger. It is a Kleemann charger, not AMG.

I sent him an email a couple days ago to see what he thinks is safe.

It is alot cheaper to lower compression than you think. And turbos is further down the road, standalone needs to come first. But yes if I was rich I'd have turbos right now. I'm doing it in stages, first I built the trans to hold crazy power

I've been chasing the TWIN-CHARGE idea for years. Never been done successully or reliably on an MB. This one sheik in Saudi Arabia did it (check Youtube) as a novelty on a C32 but I don't think it was ever used as a daily driver.
