on that LET stage 1 record. My car is faster and I know it but I'm not worried about that small record, just going faster. With that said, shhhhhhhhhhh I'm no longer stage 1 
Lets just say in the thread where Marcus and Alan went at it, I had better numbers then his 65 and his friend who I believe was a VRP600 package? 11.5 should be a thing of the past, but it is hotter then hell up here I just came back from running at Thunderhill and the odometer said 104 in Sac in the mid afternoon

Yea my dad never saw me ran and wants to go so I'm going no matter what. I'll just be waiting for the sun to go down and doing what I can to keep her cool. You coming out? I know it's not going be the best conditions since it's warming back up but it's still fun. I'm curious to see how these new parts and tune run.

What's up Blackbenzz! I say it's bs because I believe he had a torque converter. Not going to list the reasons why I think that but that is just my opinion and I'll leave it at that. Yes the run was real and the car had an awesome run and I'm very impressed so I don't call it bs in that aspect. As far as saying my car is faster, well it is. I ran 123.335 which I believe is roughly 4 mph faster then the record car. I wasn't the quickest though since I missed his ET by .1??. That's fine I wasn't expecting to even do that and I'm more interested in making my car faster then chasing a stage record.

Just drop it off here I'll run it for you. It was spot on with the weather prediction of 97 degrees today but man has it cooled down. It's mid 70s and the breeze is cool. Tomorrow is suppose to only be 86 degrees so I'm excited! More excited my beasts twin is up and running, I am curious to find out what the issue was. Oh fyi an E55 handles pretty well on the track and I was smoking cars, this car is freaking amazing

They do not have helmet rentals, you will need to either buy one borrow one or let off on your runs and not wear a helmet.

Try summit racing, they seem to have a large variety with a broad range of prices. Just make sure to get a Snell SA2005 rated helmet because I believe most tracks require this. Maybe someone could chime in and verify this.

For race fuel, I think I'll just buy in San Leandro and allow the car to adapt on the ride to Sac once the weather is a tad cooler and the helmet is in hand.

Thanks, those SA2005 rated ones are a bit more expensive than the DOT-compliant motorcycle helmets I was googling. I don't plan on going to the strip much but I'll find a way to justify the cost with the lady of the house.
For race fuel, I think I'll just buy in San Leandro and allow the car to adapt on the ride to Sac once the weather is a tad cooler and the helmet is in hand.

Mike ran a 11.506 @ 123 with a 1.680 60' time. This was more then an hour ago and temps are dropping 6 degree per hour. Not that really matters but I just thought I'd mention it....
My guess is that he'll be in the low 11.4's to high 11.3's. He mentioned the weather was feels much cooler than last time.
Hey Chiro, Lets make plans to do this really soon!!!! I'm getting very anxious to hit my 10's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
