KN Filters, CEL and OBDII Codes
I'll be sure they are dry before installing, hope for a few ponies, and no CEL!

A) turn key to position 2 and wait at least 30 seconds.
B) turn off
C) turn car on without accelerating ... After 30 secs turn off.
I'm not sure it these instructions are real or mere snake oil, but no CEL on mine.
However if you DO not follow those easy rules you will get a CEL along w/false codes. Speaking from experience-
This is why I run paper filters when I'm cleaning mine so that I don't rush it. Same rules apply when cleaning them. Don't over spray the oil aka drown them.
*If you do need to clean your MAF you can buy CRC MAF cleaner - spray and let air dry / done-
Also the MAF is designed to get extremely hot to burn off and contaminants.

Did you sun dry them 1st?
Quality looks excellent. I did however place them in the oven at 170 degrees for 2 hours and then left them in the sun outside for the afternoon. Touched each side with a towel several times over the course of the day to remove the excess oil, they were pretty well oil saturated from the factory. Once the towel was clean (no pink spots) after touching both sides, installed them.
No codes and my car has never run better.
