HI guys,
Someone I know from work has a S600 2005 (old guy) saw my car in the parkinglot and asked me if want to race....... he is at least 60+
anyways, i guess he is also a Benz lover and knows about cars.
What do you guys think ? can his S600 take my Stock E55 ??

It would definitely be interesting. He has the torque on you, but you have the weight advantage. Try it out! IF you lose, just mod the car and destroy him.

That normally favors the E55 but when put against V12 Bi-Turbo it's another story. There will be blood for sure.

Don`t be fooled by his age.. We have plenty of sneaky "active adults over 60" that know every trick in the book and enjoy thier weekly testosterone shots! Ran into a 69 year old farmer with a 604RWHP vette just last weekend. I saw the dyno and he was willing to drive 2 hours to race..

 

The hp numbers MB published for those S600 V12TT are way way underrated. I'm going to go with him winning since you're stock. I hope you report back with a win though.

so what was the result?

 

Well, we raced 2 times and we agree to stop at 120MPH. The first time he was kinda launch faster but I got him about 60MPH and I won about half car. The second race the result is about the same. He pull faster than me from 0-60 but not by much then I still pull him about half car. I think both cars are very very close. I only won by half car and i was at 120MPH !!!
The temperature was about 82F, not too hot. I was alone with 3/4 tank of gaz. Conclusion, I won 2 times by half car length. I LOVE MY CAR !!!

Good kill man. I thought you would win by a little more then that. Did you ever replace your pump? I raced a few cars with a failing pump and when I replaced it and raced the same cars I performed MUCH better. Not saying anything is wrong with your car, the S600 is no slouch just figured for some reason you would get him by a little more.

 

Thanx ! I didnt replace my pump yet. And might want to replace it soon but so far I am Happy ! Do you think a 06 still have problem with the IC pump ?
