E55,first car I have ever bought off lease.

I test drove the E63,an S550 and the new Eclass 550. And none of them made me smile like the E55. I went to the dealer fully planning on turning it in and coming home with something new. I guess MB just really got it right with the E55

same here.. I plan to keep for a few more years.

E55 will be keepers until boosted engines return to AMG. If not we will slowly making a transition to another brand.

She'll go to the grave with me. It's hard to find a car with the same amount of character, speed, and class.

I drove the E55 nearly 400 miles yesterday and I think what's so fantastic about the car is that a battleship size car can be SO fast and yet so incredibly comfortable. They should have made the Valentine One standard equipment.

Same here. I just could not find anything better, so I paid it out and plan to keep it for a while longer. I will probably skip the horrid W212 model altogether.
Then I went out and bought a GT-R for track and weekends!
