New member!
Just traded the '03 Audi RS6 in on the dealer's last '09 E63 AMG's. they deeply discounted it, so much so that I really had no choice but to buy her. Artic white, premium 2 pkg, parktronic, large sunroof thing, few other doo-dads.
So far it pure love/lust. An entirely different level of power and refinement. I know the incoming model has some tranny/suspension and other mods, but they weren't giving those away and frankly I didnt care for the styling, too much like a caddy....
Living in MN, we get some snow, so i will be getting dedicated winter wheel/tires, probably from tire rack. anyone has opinions on the different snow tires on thwe cars?
Also, where is the cheapest place to get things like all-weather mats and such. I am a long time bmw and audi guy, but this is my first merc, so I need some orientation. thanks and glad to be here!

Great choice and welcome!
I always heard you can't go wrong with Blizzak's but years ago I had a BMW 530 that I drove year round and went with Michelin Pilot Alpins. Great tire IMO.

no comparison, e63 hand down. its also smoother (between turbo lag and the clunky slow shifting AT in the RS6 it was very awkward). the E63 has more hp/tq and delivers it so much more palatably
where do i get cheap (but geniune) all weather mats and other accessories?

Congrats!
You could try the dealer since you just bought the car maybe they can give you a wholesale break... they wouldn't charge shipping as the mail order companies would.
Here is where you would also find your 'geniune' mats. http://www.performanceproducts4benz.com/
But weather tech also is a good product... it just doesn't say Mercedes on it
