C63 exhaust note for the E63

I have been trying to figure out the differences in exhaust set up between the C63 and my E63. I have deleted my resonator and replaced it with x-pipe and it did make a difference. But after driving my parent's C63 for a week the factory exhaust note is so so much better than mine even with the resonator delete. I realize the length of the exhaust is different but I believe the biggest difference must be the mufflers?? right?

So in theory if I were to get my hands on some C63 mufflers would my exhaust sound as aggressive? Or should I wait for the W212 E63 mufflers as I have heard clips where the new E63 sounds as aggressive as the C63.

Thoughts?

I heard the C63 muffler is smaller and is more free-flowing than the E63, hence the better sound.

Also, the throttle-blip downshifting is on the C63 and that sounds amazing. If the E63 could do that it would sound just as bad ***.

So I have tried to get my secondary cats replaced with straight pipe and the shop does not want to do it due to potential penalties. I don't get it since I will be retaining my primary cats for emissions, etc.

So back at square one.

Cut the mufflers off. I did and it sounds like a Ferrari when downshifting, of course I have a tt v12 which quiets the exhaust quite a bit.

I would cut the secondaries before I swapped mufflers. Cut the secondaries, and resonator and your crap will growl. E63s have a sweet sound!

I'm going to cut out my Secondaries this friday. I'll post some vids after I'm done. However, I will not be putting in an X-Pipe, just straights...

can I add mufflers from an 2008 E63 w211 on a 2009 E class 350 (W211) with the resonator already deleted and replaced with an X pipe and get the same sound of an 2008 E63 W211 ? C63 muffler or an e63 muffler?

There's is absolutely no way you can make an E350 sound like an E63 without doing an engine swap.
