All of them
Couple of things, Most likely either the main supply battery in the trunk is going out or the aux battery for your sbc is going out. OR you have a small draw on your vehicle. Easiest way to determine. Call 1800 FOR MERC, it is under your drivers side sunvisor when you open it. its the roadside call line. For the Life of your car, Jump starts, flat tires, and out of gas is covered for FREE. Call them up and have them come out and hook up the midtronics tester and check the two batteries, if one is bad. INSTALLATION is FREE, the dealer will charge you .5 hours to repalce. roadside only charges for the battery cost. but if thats still too expensive. just tell him no thanks and go and get your own battery but at least you know still. If your car is under warrenty, the battery is free. if not and you purchase a battery its two year warrenty unlimited miles.

If it is not the battery and you get a good roadside tech out there, he will check for a draw unless he has like 3 or 4 calls ahead of you. and if he goes into checking a draw Please remember to give him at least a $20 tip (wich is a steal since benz would charge at a bare min at the shop two hours) becuz he gets paid per call, not how long he helps you and if he spends an hour out there you can do 3 calls in a busy hour at 60 bucks a piece from mercedes.

How do I know, I have done roadside for 5 years, and its not that tips are mandentory but ive helped people out and spent almost two hours with some people and i get paid the same 62.5 bucks (wich is awesome) but i also have lost in that same two hours 3 or four other calls at 62.5 bucks to other dealers or tow trucks since i took too long.

2003 E55 AMG
In my 2004 E55, the same red battery light came on. After reading many posts, I had the auxillary battery checked at Autozone for free. It was the auxillary battery. I bought the Sears model for about $90 and it was a perfect fit. Took only a few minutes to install. The light went out and has never come back on. I think the battery model is the BS-14. Be sure to get the AGM version (a few bucks more).
