The Shocking Truth behind Forged DST....
--------FORGED DISTRIBUTING Press Release-------
September 17, 2009- The road back to being considered a reputable wheel company for Forged Distributing has not been an easy path. The company which is owned by Alain Bandomo has had to change the course that it was on when it was formally known as 360 Forged. “The company in April of 2009 had a backorder of over 130 sets of wheels and not a dollar in the bank to reflect on how it was going to have all those orders fulfilled” says Bandomo. Since the acquisition of 360 Forged, Forged DST has fulfilled every last order and has managed to save the brand from becoming extinct. The business has moved to a smaller, more reasonably sized location with a little less bling. It’s definitely a more efficient use of space and money says Ralph Carreno, Wholesale Director for Forged DST. The company is now dealing with the reality that because of the previous owner’s greed and lack of business ethics, that getting back to where they once were is not going to be an easy task. “We are not interested in driving flashy cars or showing off fancy watches, we simply want to deliver the best product on the market, no questions asked” says Emilio Mayer, Sales & Marketing. Another problem that they were dealing with was certain shops all over the U.S. selling bootleg product that was being provided by machine shops that cut for them previously. “Everyone was trying to cash in on the great design work that our guys had created. It’s frustrating to see others trying to profit on someone else’s hard work” says Bryttany Anerine, Customer Service. Currently there are over 20 designs that the company offers between their three lines. They also have several other new styles in the developmental stages that are scheduled to be released in the next few months. Adversity is definitely something that this company is dealing with. They are taking responsibility for previous short comings. The last few months there has been uncertainty regarding who owns what or who is associated with whom. One thing that can be guaranteed is that Forged Distributing will not hide behind any other company names or disguise who actually owns or is running the company. The company invites all questions and inquiries and would love to hear feedback from all enthusiasts. –Forged Distributing 305.255.5166

Kudos for stepping up and finally posting a status on the orders, customers, and state of affairs. Now, get some testimonials of customers on here and that would be golden.

I thought they did a great job writing an update for the forum. It didn't need to be so fancy, just to the point. All we wanted was for it to have good spelling and decent grammar and for it to be factual. Thanks for the Positive Feedback Guys!

Guys,
I just got off of the phone with Emilio from Forged DST. Absolutely Great Guy!
No frills, no rediculous promises, even talked me out of buying tires (Nitto Invo's) from him because he could set me up with a shop here locally that would give me a much better deal including TPMS! About 8 months ago, I was about to order my DREAM RIMS from 360 Forged for my C350, when I heard about all of this BS they were going thru because of their owner, "Mr. Bling-Bling". Luckily I decided to wait, because after further digging into the issue, I found that some of my fellow forum members had, at that time, already been waiting in excess of 90 days for their rims. Long story short; I will be giving Emilio and Forged DST my business. I know that it was just a phone conversation but every now and then you get a really good feeling about someone you just met. Emilio instills that type of feeling and confidence.
Oh yeah, Emilio's the one who wrote the introduction article. He's a good guy, give him a break. Geda's 2c's.
Thanks for listening guys.

It's good to hear that you stepped in and made things right for all those people who had pending orders, but as you have previously mentioned, re-gaining trust will take a much longer time; and re-building the company's reputation will take even longer.

Kudos on this and the move towards transparency. I wish you guys the best, but will be the first one with a pitchfork and a torch if anyone from your firm refers to your cars as "Deez Beetches".

There is no SCAM, if you ordered wheels you either received the product or you were issued a refund through us or the credit card merchant. Bottom line, No one had their money taken from us without receiving product. We still stand behind that 100%. Please contact me @ emilio@forgeddistributing.com if what I am saying is not true. Thanks!

If there are ANY....I stress this, ANY legitimate claims of faulty wheels, please refer them to me. I understand the problems that had taken place when "Mr.Bling" was running this place into the ground, but that is not the situation anymore.

Can you elaborate in more detail on the current capital position with respect to the prior owner(s). Did this 'acquisition' result in them being completely removed from the business operationally? Can "Mr. Bling" decide that it looks like the ski conditions in Vegas look promising, blow a few dozen stacks and uproot your best intentions to rebuild the company or are these parties now completely out of the picture?
Good luck
