The hood thing could be an adjustment to the left front corner and I don't see anything wrong with the front wheel..... However, if this thing is a lemon buy back that in itself is reason to run from it b/f you even consider the ridiculous price for the miles and the lemon thing... There are plenty of E55s out there find one where you don't have all the doubts about the car AND the seller!

I don't see anything worse on this side of the car:

or one side to the other....

Pictures never justify how the car is in person....searching through online inventories and autotrader, there are a lot of awesome pictures. They look so clean. But then, when your actually face to face with the car its ****!

I just started my search so I will be patient for the right deal...it will come...

Chuck, it just seems like the gaps are bit bigger than normal where the hood meets the headlights. The bumper to fender gap from wheel to headlight seems to open up a bit as it gets to the front of the car. No biggie, just nit picking. Lemon buy back for low-mid 20's but at this price, the damn thing better be tip top.

No, it is a biggie. I'm sure I don't need to tell you but if you see those type things you should question them and if you don't get a reasonable/satisfactory answer that makes you comfortable you will know what to do as in this case.... You need to nit pick especially a car at the top of the price range. Top asking price should equate to top condition and if it doesn't you walk away or make an offer accordingly.

To the OP and others: RUN FORREST RUN!!!

Any dealer worth a damn would not only let you get an inspection, VIN, etc. but most will offer an inspection done, give you the VIN so you can get the VMI. If they don't have it already. When I bought my cars out of state, I was extended every courtesy, an inspection at the nearest MB dealership with report. When I was Chicago, they even gave us aclear bra, a loaner, gourmet coffee, and some cookies. How's that?

These fools are playing games, when people come ready for business and to make a deal. You need to know what you are buying, someone POS or really a pristine car.

The refusal of the VIN is enough for me to slam the phone on the hook.

i think the OP should buy it, then start a new thread about what a disasterous mistake the purchase was. Think of all the people he could save from making that same mistake!

Good looking out...Unfortunately Silver is my last color choice. White, Black, Flint/Graphite in that order is my preference.

Hmm, found another one. There are couple in my area, no keyless, but otherwise pretty loaded, I think you will able to get it for $36k.
