Thumbs up Question for Vic55

Just saw your signature, that M3 is insane.. I'm just curious and thought I'd ask, which of the 4 cars handles best ? In order. And which is the fastest in straight line acceleration? And finally, which is the most fun to drive?

Thanks alot! And enjoy your set of machines.

Thanks!!

Handling in this order based on the same daily drives that include high speed benders, sharp turns, and high speed straights to 180+:

GTR
997TT
M3
IS-F (not much chair time)

Straightline from a dig:

GTR
997TT
M3
IS-F

Remember both my Turbo and GTR are modded but the GTR is just a flat out dig beast even in stock format.

Most fun is a tough one since believe or not, the M3 is a very involving car with some great chassis feedback. The M3 is not close to as fast as the two turbo cars but the feel of the car is great. Its really tossable like the 997TT but the GTR makes me feel like Im in a shell sometimes. The GTR allows you to boldly go where you have not gone before in speed going in, thru, and coming out of turns. But this is a dangerous thing because the threshold is pushed and I wonder what happens if you exceed that extended area. Overall Id base my opinion on driver feedback and involvement, not necessarily by speed alone where the GT-R would win. Its very close for the top 3 but this is my order:

997TT
GTR
M3
IS-F

Ditto on the "nice review". Always good to get real world opinions from folks that actually own and drive the cars.

Excellent review. Who would have though the Japanese GTR can stay with the German performance cars and possibly exceed them in performance/handling. I would have guessed that the M3 would out handle the 997 and GTR, then again i have never driven any of them..
Perhaps the M3 would be first when it comes to the interiors of these cars.

M3 is a sports sedan- the 997 and GTR's are very high end sports cars. Why would the m3 be able to perform as well?

Since when is the M3 a sports " sedan " ? The M3 is a performance sports car. Generally when you're talking M3, youre talking about the 2 door sports coupe.

Thanks guys! The most raw car I have is the GT-R- with the mods and exhaust it just screams speed and the titanium section really gives it a different note of any car Ive ever had.

The GTR is going to get some more mods this week, planning on putting in larger injectors and some upgraded fuel pump regulators so I can run 22psi!!!!
